THE MERRY GO ROUND
“It’s up to us all to make the merry go ‘round”
The Merry Go Round is Hibernate Studios’ most ambitious and complex project to date. A frenetic, kaleidoscopic montage of shifting locations with numerous complex characters - clocking in at 7 minutes long.
Production began in May of 2024, before Hibernate Studios was formed. The Stupendium hired Alice as Director, and the project ended up moving significantly faster than expected. The assets & a full animatic were produced by a rag-tag team of artists, however the project was put on hold until The Stupendium had time to continue.
During the project’s hiatus, Alice formed Hibernate Studios and produced Axolotls Party Hard, The Real Slime Shady and the CGI segments of Divide. Production started up again on The Merry Go Round and was completed during January - July of 2025.
